A new nutraceutical brand, The Func Lab, has been started by Sohfit Co-founder Sohrab Khushrushahi, former cricketer Sahil Kukreja, and brand strategist Daneesh Davar. The company said that it will offer a range of protein powders and electrolyte supplements, targeting India’s functional nutrition segment.
The founders said the brand is positioned as a response to what they view as a lack of transparency and effectiveness in existing nutrition products. The initial product line includes plant-based and whey protein powders, as well as electrolyte formulations. The company stated that all products are manufactured in facilities certified by FSSAI, ISO 22000, and GMP standards.
